Camp Clay

Hey, I am Clint, Camp Clay Facilitator, welcome to the Camp Clay page of our website! I am so excited to share with you the changes our Camp Clay facility has recently made. We really are one of the “hidden jewels” of Van Wert County and we are excited to help spread the word through this site and make it less “hidden.”

As a branch of the Y, we work together in many ventures, such as summer camps, swimming opportunities and rentals. Other things that are just out here at Camp Clay include the team building initiatives (high and low ropes, climbing wall, etc); shelter house and pond—with swimming, paddle boats and canoe rentals available; The Nature Center; A Self-Guided Nature Trail; the reconstructed 1837 cabin and tipi rentals.

We have a great facility for church gatherings, group retreats, family reunions, corporate events, weddings and so much MORE! The sky is the limit at Camp Clay…we can help our grounds meet most any needs.
